How to Add Chutzpah to Your Holiday Table

How to Add Chutzpah to Your Holiday Table

Happy Challah Days! We are coming up on our 9 month anniversary of The Nosh Table and I am incredibly grateful to celebrate our first holiday season with all of you! The holidays are all about being around the people you love and not about stressing in the kitchen. Here are some easy ways to add chutzpah to your table for a festive holiday!

Dress up your Latkes

Dress up your latkes with fun toppings from creme fraiche and caviar to fresh chives and dill. I love serving the toppings on the side so everyone can build their own nosh. Want to switch up your latke filling? Try adding grated zucchini or eggplant for a delicious Italian twist on this classic recipe.

Fill your Nosh Table Swirl Platter with Festive Candies

We created this Nosh Table Swirl Platter not only to use for Passover, but all year round! Fill your platter with your favorite Hanukkah candies and dreidels and it makes a beautiful centerpiece for your holiday table.

Wipe up your Schmutz in Style

Let's be honest, Hanukkah can get messy! Wipe up your schmutz in style with our new navy napkins that are not only beautiful but also a conversation on starter and will be sure to make your guests laugh.

Nosh on Crispy Phyllo Bites

My family and I love snacking as we are cooking and these crispy phyllo cups are also the perfect nosh to impress your guests without spending all day in the kitchen. Fill frozen phyllo cups with feta and bake in the oven for 10 minutes on 350 degrees F. Then top with pomegranate seeds, mint and a drizzle of honey for a delicious nosh bites!

Jeuje up your Holiday with Whipped Ricotta Dip

This dish is my go-to nosh for every holiday because it is super easy to make, and you can “jeuje it up” with seasonal ingredients. In a standing mixer, whip 32 oz of heavy cream and slowly add in 32 oz of fresh ricotta and salt to taste. Spread the whipped ricotta onto a bowl and drizzle extra virgin olive oil. Then top with your favorite garden ingredients from snap peas to fresh herbs with an extra drizzle of olive oil. Serve it with crunchy nosh such as sourdough bread or bagel chips.

Swap out Sufganiyot for Sufganichallah

Did someone say sufganichallah? YES! We partnered with Challah Back Girls for a Hanukkah bundle this year and they created an epic challah that tastes even more delicious than jelly donuts. There is no better way than to ring in the holidays than with this sweet treat.

We hope this nosh fills your holiday with love and we wish you a happy and healthy Hanukkah!

Love, Remi
